  • Many thanks to everyone who came along and made the 2017 Summer Fete such a success last weekend

The sun shone and a thoroughly good time was had by all. Thanks to all those who helped out with the planning and preparation and the many who gave up their time on the day to be on the stalls, entertain us or simply to lend a hand.

Thanks to local traders who contributed prizes for the raffle:

    Crescent  Hardware

    Micky’s Fish and Charcoal Grill

    Methi

    Crescent Supermarket

    Our Cottage

    Dhaka Tandoori

    Napoli Pizzeria

    Ruff Mutts

    Best One

    Palace Gates Dry Cleaners

    Visage

    Ally Pally Hair Salon

    Sweet Tree Bakery.

And special thanks to Simon of 'Emily Cadence' who made three amazing games for us: a shove ha'penny board, a'Devil amongst the tailors' skittles game and (transforming the same structure) a try-your-strength machine - and watched over the games for a lot of the time!

We raised just over £600 which will all be spent in the local area and across our community
