From the April newsletter of the Friends of Alexandra Park:

The Haringey Licensing sub-committee held a hearing on April 20 into the Alexandra Palace application for a premises licence for events to be held in the Park, up to a maximum of 42 days.  Our Chair made known our concerns that this number of days of events, with the associated disturbance of setting up and breaking down, constituted a nuisance for the public who use the park regularly.  Local residents argued for lower maximum noise limits.

Latest news: the premises licence has been granted but the maximum number of days of events per year has been limited to 30, as the Friends proposed.
