  • Hello Jane.  I got secondary glazing installed on sash windows in this 1907 terrace house by Anglian Windows.  I was not that keen on the idea of a big firm like that.  But they did a v good job and no problems since.  They improve noise as well as heat loss.  I have the bill somewhere – quite reasonable I thought. You can come and inspect them if you like.

    • Yes, we found that secondary glazing was much better at noise insulation than double-glazing - presumably the much larger gap between the panes of glass. We discovered this after changing the s.glazing for d.glazing!
