Would you like to know about the animals that pass through your garden?  Rachel Cates, a Masters student currently working with Chris Carbone at the Zoological Society of London, is studying animals in gardens in the vicinity of Alexandra Park.

Over the last 6 months she has installed wildlife cameras in a number of gardens around the park and recorded the images of animals which trigger the camera.  Rachel is looking for more gardens within 500 metres of Alexandra Park in which she can install a camera (like the one below) and leave it there for 3 weeks. She will show you the images recorded when she removes the camera.

To improve the coverage of her study she would particularly like to have offers of gardens in the Palace Gates area and the Warner Estate roads. If you are interested in having a wildlife camera in your garden, please email Rachel at rachel.cates@wur.nl
