Brigitte Beraha (Vocals), Barry Green (Piano), Chris Laurence (Bass), Paul Clarvis (Drums)

A collaboration between two of the UK’s finest jazz artists Barry Green-piano and Brigitte Beraha-voice, Babelfish also features legends Muswell Hill resident Chris Laurence-double bass and Paul Clarvis-drums/percussion who stems from Enfield.  All musicians are nationally and highly acclaimed and we are honoured to have these well established musicians perform in North London's best jazz venue.

Between them they have played or recorded with artists as diverse as Bobby Wellins, BBC Concert Orchestra, Evan Parker, Kenny Wheeler and Stevie Wonder.

Their albums 'Babelfish' and 'Chasing Rainbows' received rave reviews and this gig marks the first concert of their 20-date UK tour which will culminate into the recording of their much anticipated third album: a journey into their favourite books through the vehicles of jazz, latin, classical, folk and improvised music.

“Babelfish are a definition of a contemporary jazz class act.” The Guardian

"It’s a pleasure to enter the original music language of this band: a world of playfulness and beauty, where anything could happen- you’re caught up in their sense of mystery and imagination.” LondonJazz
