Email from PC Neil Rogers:

Dear Ward Member,

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

My name is PC Neil Rogers and I look after the running of a website for Haringey called OWL, Which stands for Online Watch Link. The main aims of the website are to offer you an online version of neighbourhood watch, which will not take away from already existing neighbourhood watches that I know have been going on for many years in many parts of Haringey, but will compliment them with hopefully new members.

For the police, the main side of the website is the ability to send you messages direct to your email address with updates on local policing, events, crime prevention etc etc. This will be from your local ward team so any crime info will be more relevant to you than a generic Haringey police message. You will also from time to time receive messages from me that will be messages for the borough as a whole but will hopefully still be relevant to you. We currently have over 1100 people on OWL from Haringey so far but the more people we have on there the more people that will receive crime prevention advice and hopefully prevent more crimes.

If you already on OWL then thank you very much for being part of it and I hope you are getting alot from it. If you are new to this then please sign up via https://www.owl.co.uk/met/ and follow the signing up process to get added to your ward. It's a free service and your data is kept safe and not passed onto anyone.

I hope you all have a great and safe New year

Regards,

PC Neil Rogers 2159NA
