Last week's meeting of the Alexandra Safer Neighbourhood Panel discussed the issue of speeding traffic (and volume) in our area.
The Police have 'promised' to carry out speed checks on Palace Gates Road, Albert Road and Alexandra Park Road.
Although Palace Gates is a 20 mph zone, the high voume of through traffic means that 20mph is not respected. The police also suggested that residents contact the local authority on this issue.
