Alexandra Palace Way closed from 8pm on Thursday 1st to 7am on Sunday 4th, and the W3 bus is diverted during these times from Wood Green station, down the High Road, along Turnpike Lane and back on its normal route up Middle Lane N8.

The 184 bus is diverted along Park Avenue and Bounds Green Road on Friday 2nd from 9.20-10.20pm and Saturday 3rd from 8.20-9.20pm.

There is a very good map of bus diversions now on bus stops in the area, though unfortunately not in the bus shelters, where people would be able to see them after dark!

  • All,

a couple of addition to this notice:

    - there is a mailing list for riad closure and similar notices around events that local residents can subscribe to. Please submit a request asking to be added to the ‘stakeholder mailing list for road closures and other similar information’ at this link: http://www.alexandrapalace.com/get-in-touch/feedback/

    - I have received teh following advice from the Event Managment Team: Residents can call the Alexandra Palace 020 8365 2121 to report any issue or use the link above. If an issue arises in real time, for instance loud background noise, the management Team has also advised to please call at the time so that action can be taken.

We hope everything will run smoothly and this will be an enjoyable occasion for all. Should you have any issue or anything we want to flag you can also get in touch with either myself or one of the other two Councillors and we will follow up .
