Cat - stray or lost?

This ginger tom cat has been badly mauled (possibly by a fox?) and a kindly neighbour, Hayley, took him to Medivet so he can be cared for and rehomed if not claimed. Either way, good to share knowledge if any out there among APNers...

  • Hi Tessa - we’ve seen this ginger tom for many years taking his regular hike along Ally Pally Rd most days. We’ve even seen him on the footbridge over the railway line.  Our assumption was that he was not a stray but someone’s cat. I think he must be quite elderly by now. My neighbour and I saw he was injured two days in a row and followed him back along our road but couldn’t get near to him. Well done Hayley for looking after him. I’d noticed he wasn’t around. Do you know how he is? Sad to think that he may have been a stray all this time!

  • Should have said - that's Medivet Hendon. And here's another pic that for some reason I think didn't attach...
