First advice surgery of the month done. Huge thanks to every resident who came out and shared their concerns. All issues raised today have now been formally submitted to the council for action.
After the surgery, I also visited locations where concerns had been raised previously and I’m pleased to see that some of those earlier issues have now been addressed:
• The missing waste bin at the library has been replaced.
• Bollards at the mini roundabout (Albert Road / Crescent Rise / Crescent Road) are back in place.
• Damaged concrete slabs along Crescent Rise have been repaired.
With higher footfall expected this season, a new 1,100L bin has also been ordered for O.R. Tambo Rec, and additional park concerns have been shared with the relevant team.
Community voices matter and together, we’re getting things done!
But we can do more. Email me with any issues in your road. I'm keen to ensure that our wonderful little community is well taken care of. That much should now be clear to council officers.
We have a ward walk with the chief executive of the council on the 18th of August. If you'd like me to bring him to your road or street to see a particular local issues, please get in touch: aj.egemonye@haringey.gov.uk
Advice surgeries: 2nd & 4th Saturday of the Month.
