Alexandra Palace Way will be closed to through traffic for 3 days from Friday 28th - Sunday 30th October, 10am until 3.30pm each day, for the Classic and Sports Car show at the Palace. As frequent users of the excellent W3 bus route, this is a major problem to us - and is presumably a foretaste of more frequent closures when the Palace has more frequent events. To have the bus unavailable for 3 days makes a mockery of the bus service - once a year for Bonfire Night we could cope with, but arbitrary closures at any time is another matter. And the route through Crouch End is a part of London where other forms of public transport are not available.

The TFL website says that the W3 will be on diversion at these times - that is to say, you would not be able to get on or off the bus between Lordship Lane N22 and Middle Lane N8, which basically means it is no use to us in the Alexandra Park area.

Is anyone else similarly affected by this road closure?
