Closure of Alexandra Palace Way to private vehicles overnight 4th - 9th November

Announcement from the Palace:

Further to government announcements over the weekend and in order to help manage what we anticipate will be a challenging few days for Alexandra Park, we have this morning decided to close Alexandra Palace Way to private vehicles overnight starting on Wed 4 Nov from 2000 to 0500. This will continue for the following four nights with the last currently planned closure being lifted at 0500 on Monday 9 November.

During the closure period, access will remain for the W3 bus so no diversions or changes to services will be required and the road will remain available for emergency services to use as required.

We will review this closure on Monday 9 November.

- this will be welcome news to those who live on or near APW, who suffered from car and motorbike racers during the last lockdown. But this time, the W3 bus will be allowed through!
