Jackie Baker saw this account of a horrible attack on Ally Pally Dogs Facebook group on 15th June:
Yesterday at around 7pm my daughter was with her friend at the bottom field over Ally Pally by the Park Ave North entrance when she saw two dogs attack a black cat. The cat was black with white paws and chest. She tried to get the dogs off but very sadly the cat died. She tried knocking on some doors to try and find the owner but no one knew. Her friends parents came and took the cat away hoping that they could find a vet that could tell if it had been chipped.
The dogs were a brown staffy type with a harness and a black dog of similar size. She thinks they were with a female owner who was too far away to see what happened.
If your cat is missing or you know someone who the cat might belong to please get in touch.

Slightly concerning, for anyone with younger children in particular, that there are two bloodthirsty dogs being walked in Ally Park by someone who apparently has no interest in properly controlling them. Should this be reported to the police?
Looks like these dogs have attacked before - see links to December 2017 on the above Facebook page. Both (or more?) times they attacked the cat in bushes near North View Road, Crouch End.
There seem to be odd references to the Police, but it doesn't sound as if anyone has actually reported the incident(s) - ?
