If you're just about stir-crazy enough to start writing poetry - don't fight it - release your inner poet! Your poetry course is only a few clicks away!

Finding the Poem with Paul Lyalls is set to run online during June and July. The course will be delivered via Zoom video link up and you will get lots of help setting this up. Complete beginners to poetry sought! Relative newcomers very welcome! Seasoned poets – come along too!

Monday evenings, 6.45pm to 9.15pm June 8, 15, 22, 29, July 6, 13. Cost £125 (email kate@collage-arts.org to register and receive payment link)

This is a course for anyone who wants to liberate their creativity and immerse themselves in the joy of language. Playful, fun, entertaining, enlightening – explore your word power with Paul Lyalls.

A note to prose writers: have you ever wondered what it is like to write in the poetic form? Perhaps you write in prose automatically, but would like to try to use language in another way. If your fiction needs a lift, if your life-writing needs lilt, if your central characters don’t quite sing (or even if they do!) you can free your writing through poetry. All levels welcome.

As a Collage Writing Room student, you will also have the opportunity to join free online Monday and Friday process and feedback groups to extend the value of your course.

Visit our website for further details of this and all our upcoming summer courses.
