As a new year resolution you might like to join the Palace Gates Residents' community gardening group, organised by Molly and Hilary. It works once a month for a couple of hours on either the triangle at the Palace Gates/Crescent Road junction, or by the Albert Road roundabout. It's sociable, and there is also the pleasure of doing something which ends up looking nice, and which people appreciate.
Many thanks to all who have helped in various ways over many years now; hopefully the recent bout of hard work will be rewarded when the spring flowering begins. Also our younger members, who have volunteered under the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme, deserve a special mention for their dedication to our group.
