Frankie is a very handsome boy with a shiny soft coat and beautiful eyes. Frankie loves playing with feather toys and he loves to chill on his foster carer's bed. He loves his food, especially chicken. Frankie is shy, but he has lots of love to give if you give him a chance.
Frankie is 3 years old. He was a kitten once, one of those cute fluffy black fur balls making little squeaky noises....he can't remember his mum or his siblings...he found himself on his own fighting for food and territory with other "unwanted" cats. A stray cat's life is rough and sad, needing help. Frankie was terrified when picked up for the first time. He literally froze and his heart was beating fast and loud. Thanks to the patience and love provided by Frankie's foster carer, Frankie became a confident cat.
His ideal forever home would be with someone patient, preferably an adult family, or a family with older children/teenagers, and with access to a back garden. Although Frankie has spent almost a year in temporary foster care as an indoor only cat, he would love a bit of fresh air and rolling on the grass.
People say they love black cats....but black cats are the hardest to re home and are the most overlooked cats in the shelters. Please don't overlook Frankie.
If you would like to meet Frankie or find out more about him, please get in touch with Stokey Cats and Dogs by email. They would love to receive enquiries. Please note home checks apply.

Stokey Cats and Dogs are a local volunteer group who rescue local stray cats. It's vital that cats are neutered as there are so many homeless cats. They rescue cats and get them neutered, microchipped and rehomed. They also rely on and welcome funds donated by the community on their fundraising page here or you can donate via PayPal to stokeycatsndogs@gmail.com. They also have a Wish List on Amazon and have a Stokey Cats and Dogs Facebook group
I post regularly here in respect of Stokey cats needing homes and photos

(If you can't offer a permanent home to a cat, Stokey also urgently need more fosterers - which means providing a temporary home for a cat until a permanent home is found. You don't need to have a garden to foster. If more people foster, Stokey will be able to help more homeless cats).
