Quite a lot of people have been growing hops for Goodness Brewery's annual green-hopped brew. Sadly the brewery has ceased operation, at least in this area. (The last I heard was it may have a new site in Hackney, but that's some way away.) We've been quite pleased with our hop crops, and when we've helped at hop day at the brewery there was clearly a pretty large stock coming in.

The other day I went to Muswell Hillbilly Brewery to see if they would be interested in local hops, and indeed they have been all along it seems - using the brewers' own hops. Their labels say " brewed with N10 hops" and they would definitely be interested in extending the range to N11 and N22. I suggested getting in touch with them again in the spring to see if people were interested in providing a crop for them which used to go to Goodness. If it is substantial we might be able to make the sort of qui-pro-quo arrangement there was with Goodness for a couple of pints each for contributors.

If you're interested, please let me know and we'll try and take it forward.
