Haringey is consulting residents on the new Draft Local Implementation Plan (LIP), which sets up how the borought will be achieving the London Mayor’s Transport Strategy goals up to 2041.
All London boroughs are required to prepare a Local Implementation Plan outlining their proposals to implement the London Mayor’s Transport Strategy locally.
The LIP covers both physical renewal and improvement of the Haringey’s transport infrastructure alongside softer measures to promote behaviour change and engage with wider safety, health and environmental objectives including improving air quality through support for more walking and cycling.
Public Consultation on the new Draft Local Implementation Plan closes on Thursday 31 January 2019. According to the notice posted on the Haringey webise all the representations will be considered and responded to before the final LIP is submitted to Transport for London in the Spring 2019.
Please note that this is not an online consultation, and the feedback can be provided via email, phone or letter directly to the team.
