I am writing following concerns raised by residents regarding potential fire safety risks in Alexandra Park Ward and the surrounding area.

Residents highlighted the recent house fire on Palace Gates Road, which required a significant emergency response and caused considerable disruption while the London Fire Brigade worked to contain the incident. Concerns have been raised about the implications for emergency access and firefighting operations, particularly in relation to the proposed development at 1-6 Crescent Mews and the constrained nature of the surrounding roads.

Could the relevant teams please:
Review the current fire risk assessment and mitigation measures in Alexandra Park ward, particularly given the recent park fire and ongoing heatwave conditions.
Confirm what arrangements are in place for the removal and management of combustible materials such as grass cuttings and any event-related materials.
Assess whether emergency vehicle access routes remain adequate during periods of peak traffic congestion.
Provide reassurance regarding fire safety and emergency access considerations relating to the proposed Crescent Mews development, including consultation with relevant fire safety authorities where appropriate.
Advise whether any additional preventative measures are being considered to reduce fire risks across the park and surrounding area.
