If you've never tried Shibori before, why not join a class with expert Rob Jones of Romor Designs, right here in Muswell Hill. It's an incredibly satisfying process!
Shibori is an ancient Japanese textiles craft that uses stitching, binding, wrapping, folding and clamping to tightly compress parts of the fabric to prevent the dye entering those areas. Typically dyed with rich blue indigo dye, the patterns achievable are many and varied and can be structured or organic.
Dyeing with indigo is a real treat. You can see the magic of this unique dye come to life before your eyes.
