Led by bassist, composer and bandleader Mireia, Periscopi Invertit is more than just music – it’s a story of migration, identity, and connection through rhythm and melody. Their unique sound blends ancient Catalan folk tunes with the vibrancy of global music traditions, creating an irresistible mix of danceable grooves and rich, soulful textures.

A graduate of the prestigious Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), Mireia has performed at major UK festivals and stages including Medicine Festival, Wilderness Festival, Africa Oyé, Journeys Festival, The Big Feastival, and more – sharing her basslines with artists like Mim Suleiman, Nelson & Friends, Malunga, Berber Difusion, and others.
