Male black and white cat found

We have a cat which comes regularly to our back garden. He is a neutered male about 8 years old. He has very distinctive white stripes on his back. He clearly has been well loved as he has a friendly nature.If you think he is your cat or know who he might belong to please let me know through this website.Jenny

Hi Jenny. Well done for helping the cat. Maybe try taking a photo of him as it will help people recognise him. If not checked yet, you could take him to the vet to be scanned to see if he's microchipped. It's good that he's neutered.

If the cat is not microchipped, maybe try putting a collar on the cat with a note attached with your tel no and see if any owner calls you.

I always encourage cat owners to get their cat neutered, microchipped and have a catflap. It's safer for a cat to be kept inside at night as it reduces the risk of it being lost or injured.

Another useful website is www.animalsearchuk.co.uk as you can put details on there if you find or lose a pet.
