Opening the brew from local hops - Wood Green Hopping City!

Today is Goodness Brewery's Community Beer Launch - opening an ESB (extra special bitter) made from hops grown in Wood Green gardens and allotments. We went to get our share and it was very nice indeed - we were pleased to have contributed to producing it. I believe ESB was invented by Fuller's Brewery, Chiswick, of London Pride fame.

Incidentally, when circumstances permit, another excellent local product - Wood Green Honey - can be bought at the All Good Bookshop, though it has apparently been a challenging time for bees, and there wasn'y any last time I asked.
