Fixing Factories and Repair Cafes are becoming numerous and popular . There are four in Haringey, with two more planned:

Saturday 1st March 12.30pm–3.30pm Lordship Rec Repair Café www.haringeyfixers.org
Saturday 8th March 1pm Campsbourne Repair Café www.haringeyfixers.org
Saturday 15th March 10.30am Broadwater Farm Repair Café www.haringeyfixers.org
Sunday 9th March 2pm – 5pm All Good Bookshop Repair Café www.haringeyfixers.org

The one in Bounds Green may, however, be more convenient - find them on the first Sunday of the month at Shaftesbury Hall, 21 Herbert Road N11 (off Queens Road, next to Bowes Park station). The fixers there are particularly popular for repairing electrical goods, but it may be less well known that volunteers also repair textiles, clothes and household goods, with a new service of jewellery repairs!

New volunteers would be very welcome - particularly electrical fixers and people to help host/ organise.

You can book a 40min slot - please bring one item only (no clothing alterations - repairs only). They also host Textiles Skillshare - email hello@bowesboundsrepaircafe.org for info.
