Email from the Palace:

As a local stakeholder you may be aware of increased levels of illegal parking and antisocial behaviours on Alexandra Palace Way particularly at night time, including vehicles racing, mounting pavements and blocking emergency ingress/egress routes.  Since 2018 the Trust has implemented a number of measures to deter such behaviour including overnight road closures.  This is not a financially viable solution for the long term , therefore, the Trust will be implementing an enforcement scheme on Alexandra Palace Way.  This scheme is separate to the on-going work to introduce car park charging.

In the next few weeks, trained traffic marshals will start patrolling Alexandra Palace Way at critical times and, where necessary, issuing Penalty Charge Notices (PCN).

We have discussed the scheme with the local authority and informed our stakeholder committees, and feedback has been supportive.  The committees will have an opportunity to discuss a detailed report about the scheme, as a group, at their meeting on 15 March.

The agenda for the Advisory and Consultative Committee will be available to view at  https://www.minutes.haringey.gov.uk/ieListMeetings.aspx?CId=711&Year=0 and will also contain information about upgrading the external signage in the Park and a report on the Park Licence.
