Permanent road sign prohibiting motorcyclists from using the alleyway In Crescent Rise

Residents in Crescent Rise living near the alleyway connecting Crescent Rise and Albert Road told me during the campaign about mopeds using this pedestrian route late at night and disturbing their rest.

Six weeks ago, I requested an investigation and a permanent road sign prohibiting motorcyclists from using the alleyway, and I’m glad to see it has now been installed.

This measure is aimed at reducing noise, improving safety, and restoring some much needed peace for neighbours living nearby. Thank you to everyone who raised this! your voices directly shape the improvements we push for across our community.
