As a regular user of Alexandra Palace Station, I have become extremely frustrated by the failure of Great Northern Rail to address a persistent issue. For several years, they have allowed the footbridge and steps down to the platform to flood whenever there is a downpour of rain.  Having to wade through several inches of water is unpleasant and inconvenient at best, and downright hazardous at worst.  I have raised this with them several times on social media.  They have occasionally insisted they intend to do something about it, but never actually have.  There is clearly a problem with the drainage on the bridge which, I imagine, they could resolve without inordinate effort and expense.   As they have proved unresponsive to me, I have written to our local MP, Catherine West.

I would suggest that others who feel similarly also raise the matter with Great Northern either by writing to them directly or by posting on Twitter.  Their handle is @GNRailUK.
