10666010262?profile=RESIZE_584xSpare a thought for our poor street trees in the terrible heat this summer. Street trees need alot of water for the first couple of years after planting. If you get a moment, please remember to chuck a bucket of water on a street tree near you, especially if it is young. Most newly planted trees should have a water pipe visible, which is a great way to deliver water straight down to the roots.

  • Just done a few trees on my road. According to a tree site, new trees need two domestic buckets (20 litres) every couple of days from spring to autumn.
