Power Cut last night

Did anyone apart from us and our next-door-neighbours have a power cut yesterday - early evening until the early hours? The other neighbours around all seemed to have their lights on, but it must have been something major because they had to dig up the road to access the fault. There were clearly lots of problems around, because we were told we weren't high priority, and they didn't start working on it until 10pm. At least they keep you updated by txt ...
