I'm AJ, from Albert Close and one of your Labour council candidate.
Like many of you, I believe that resident's views must be taken seriously in decisions that affects residents. My running mate Mel and I have been out speaking to some of you about the proposed bus lanes.
We have listened and shared concerns raised by family, neighbours and residents with Cllr Mike Hakata, the cabinet member for climate action, environment and transport.
From what we've gathered, relevant councillors were briefed about the proposal. I have also been assured that nothing has been decided yet, so I'm keen to campaign with you all and for you on this issue to ensure that your voice matters.
