Hi All,
Terribly sorry for the delay in this post. We are facing a completely different Remembrance Sunday, but we still want to make sure that we have the opportunity to remember those who gave their lives.
We will be holding a smaller-scale and socially distanced Remembrance Sunday at Alexandra War Memorial (St Saviour's Court, Alexandra Park Road) on Sunday at 11:00 - normally Alexandra remembrance Sunday is later in the day; however, as there are social distanced restrictions at other remembrance services, it was felt that it would be OK to move the Alexandra one to 11:00.
Unfortunately, Father Tony has been very unwell and will not be able to join us on Sunday - and I am certain that we all would like to send him best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Plan for Sunday.
Gather from 10:45; wreaths to be laid just before 11:00 and then two minutes of silence.
Due to social distancing we will need to limit the number of people within the memorial to six, and any one else will be asked to remain on the pavement and please ensure that you are wearing masks and maintain social distancing.
Any questions - please do shout - and apologies for my delay in posting this.
Best wishes
Nick
