Avoid PM247 Plumbers. This company are incredibly expensive and advertise as being local to Muswell Hill. I was quoted £140+VAT to fix a faulty valve on a toilet system. The plumber, who came the next day said a small plastic part was needed which he retrieved from his van and installed in just a few minutes. PM247 then tried to charge me £318 for this 25 minute visit just because they had needed to add a cheap part. I refused to pay this amount and it was quickly lowered to a, still extortionate, £240. They refused to give me a detailed breakdown of the costs. The plumber was courteous but I feel totally scammed. Avoid.
