31306717273?profile=RESIZE_710xI had a constructive meeting with the management of the 133-year-old Muswell Hill Golf Course here in Alexandra Park Ward, about stray golf balls landing on Rhodes Avenue. They were cooperative and expressed regret about the recent health and safety incidents, particularly the one involving a resident’s daughter.

They have commissioned a risk assessment and agreed to install 6ft netting in the gaps between the trees in the meantime. Higher netting may follow, but I’ve asked for solutions that don’t mean felling the trees.

I also urged them to keep residents informed. People are far more understanding when they know what’s happening. They're also open to meeting with residents to have further discussions.

Thank you to the residents who came forward, and to Guy and Mike for engaging constructively. I’ll continue to monitor this issue and keep you updated. ⛳️
