Dear neighbours,

You would have seen by now that I am not standing for tomorrow Local Elections. It has been a difficult decision to take; but changes in my workplace mean I could not be sure I could commit the necessary time for the next 4 years.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the way you have welcomed me, for the support and the engagement of the past 8 years, and for trusting me with your queries, daily struggles or local problems whether through this forum, what'sapp chats, on the doorsteps, via emails, phone calls or surgeries. I hope I have been able to repay the trust you put in me, and I am sorry when not been able to do enough, I have never stop trying to the best of my ability.

I will continue to be a member of Alexandra Park Neighbours, so you can always reach out in case there is anything I can help with, although I would advise to direct your query to your Councillors first, as they could be better placed help and need to be aware especially if a local issue.

Thank you all again for your support, queries, comments and engagement through these pages which have made being a Councillor for Alexandra one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and best wishes to the new Councillors.
