Article by a teacher from South London in the Guardian.  James McAsh argues that closing schools isn’t the only answer: with proper investment, teachers and pupils could be safe and supported.

I think teachers should be prioritised for the vaccine alongside other front-line staff. The constant changes in government policy must be appallingly difficult for schools to deal with and I have great sympathy for teachers and families trying to navigate the complete mess we are in.
