From Alexandra Palace website:
The wait is over. Following the completion of the East Wing Restoration project, this Saturday we are opening the doors to the spectacular Alexandra Palace Theatre and East Court. Years in the making, join us on 1st and 2nd December for our opening celebration and your chance to explore these truly incredible spaces.
With Santa’s Grotto, a Christmas market, funfair including a ferris wheel overlooking all of London, ice skating, live music, street food and free workshops and performances from the BBC Concert Orchestra and Haringey Music Service – there is something for everybody.
The theatre will be open at various points throughout Saturday and Sunday for the public to gain a sneak peek, prior to the start of its opening season of shows on 3rd December. Entry is free, no need to book in advance.
The opening weekend marks the start of our first ever Christmas Carnival – a two week festive extravaganza in the Theatre and East Court.

Listen to a concert by Haringey Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra in Ally Pally theatre Sunday 2nd December, 4-5pm. This follows HYM ensembles playing in the East Court (I think), 2.30-3.45pm. All free.
