Two more Eco Park visits

Friday 14th September and Friday 12th October 10.30am – 12 noon
The Eco Park on the North Circular Road (previously known as the Edmonton Incinerator) takes our residual waste which is burnt and converted into electricity and our food and garden waste which is made into compost. We have organised many visits to the Eco Park and they have always been fully subscribed. There is a limit of 12 on each visit so booking essential. To book a place email joyce.rosser13@gmail.com. It is of concern that the Compost plant at the Eco Park will be closing (so that new bigger incinerator can be built) so where will our garden and food waste go?  See also this article on waste incineration overtaking recycling:
