Vintage Swedish Army M58 Wool Tunic, Dated 1957, Unused, 42 inch chest for height 5' 10 - 5'11".
Swedish Army field tunic of the style known as M58, though this example is dated 1957. New and unused and made by Sodebergs of Upsala. Heavy grey wool fabric and part lined with grey cotton twill. High collar, fitted waist, two slanting moleskin-lined hip pockets, two rear pockets, a bi-swing pleated back, cotton inserts under arms to prevent heat build up and a fold down fishtail tucked into the back which can be pulled between the legs and buttoned to prevent heat loss. Six front buttons with Swedish crowns insignia, one smaller flat button at collar, four fibre buttons for flap attachment and two flat buttons to rear pockets. Very high quality cold weather jacket. This coat has never been worn but after 60 years in storage does smell musty so it will need to be washed or dry cleaned.
