Have you been impacted by the many bus diversions of the W3 this summer, and the lack of information about them? Does it put you off using the bus at all? Our W3 bus user group is now pursuing a two-pronged campaign – to pressure TfL to improve the information that they provide, and to negotiate with Alexandra Palace to at least shorten the number of days when the bus is on diversion during their events in the Park.
All this is up for discussion – come along to our meeting on Monday 16 September to find out more and contribute. The Green Rooms on Station Road, Wood Green at 7pm (we’ll have a small placard to identify us at the table!).
If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please message me (little mailbox at top right of page) - and for any other queries (or respond to the post).

Reminder that the W3 Bus Users' Group meeting will be this Monday 16 September at 7pm at the Green Rooms on Station Road, Wood Green (at the W3 bus stop!). It will be in the Residents’ Lounge, which is on the ground floor behind Reception (6 steps down, but there is also an accessible entrance).
If you have any queries, please reply to this post, or message me (little mailbox icon at top right of the page). Hope to see you there!
AGENDA
1 Brief introductions (including typical use of the W3 bus – this varies a lot in our group!).
2 Update on negotiations with TfL to improve the information they provide about diversions – Annabel.
3 Campaign about diversions imposed by Alexandra Palace for their events – Andy (his submission to the recent Alexandra Transport and Traffic Review is here).
4 New consultation on behalf of the Council’s Highways Dept. about
potential reasons for deteriorating bus journey times along the W3 route … [They are] looking for feedback relating to such issues as difficulties in boarding and alighting, bottlenecks and obstructions along the route, traffic signal timing and phasing, etc. … to feed into potential improvements to infrastructure along the routes.
- please bring any such concerns to the meeting, or email them to me (your ward councillor may also have contacted you about this).
