Dear all,
you may be aware of the World Darts Championshion taking place at Alexandra Palace until the 1st of january. Considering last year experiece and feedback we received we have asked Haingey Council what measures had been pout in place this year to mitigate the antisocila behaviour and the loud speakers from the station experienced by many of you.
Haringey has responded to say that debrief post event last year suggested that measures that were in place had significantly reduced potential offside issues and that complaints had reduced im comparison to previous years. They have also told us that AP (Alexandra Palace) had a dedicated egress action plan which was will be in place each evening with an increased security presence on Bedford Road and on AP Way and daily litter patrols to tidy the streets of anything that could possibly be AP related.
Residents are able to submit complaints to AP and also the Council's out of hours service if they are disturbed by noise as a result of the event: the Enforcement Team can be contacted on 0280489 0000 (the Noise Response Service is available only from Thursday to Sunday, 6pm-2am) .
With respect to the volume of the station tannoy thought please consider that if the volume levels are at a limit to enable the safe egress of the crowds at the station by ensuring that messages can be heard clearly this will be risk assessed by the station operator and actioned accordingly.
We are also avaialble if you if you want to report or register a complaint thorugh us or providie any feedback that could help.

I have been thinking of making a complaint to AP about the lack of shuttle buses for this event. There has been a huge amount of drinking and overcrowding on the W3. Some evenings it has been very difficult for local residents to get on the bus and if you do it is pretty unpleasant. Why are there no shuttle buses for such a large event?
