I have notified the Head of Transport about the worsening condition of several local pavements and roads.
This includes broken bollards and the uneven road behind O.R. Tambo Rec, which has become a trip hazard for many, especially our elderly neighbours.
I expect timely repairs and will continue to press for improvements that make our neighbourhood safer for all.
Last Month, I also raised raised traffic issues in the ward, including but not limited to Crescent Road, Palace Gates, speeding on Durnsford Road et cetera including a request for speed cameras and other speed calming measures.
I will continue to raise these issues with the relevant council officers such as the head of transport.
