Our apples have been odd this year - very large and very early. As big ones were starting to fall down I picked a lot in the hope of storing them, but they are clearly not going to keep. (Usually we keep some in a garage well into the winter). We have several kilos.
They can be pureed and frozen, but we have no room, so if anybody likes doing that you are welcome to these: or for cooking now. I find them already too soft for juicing in a hand press - I don't know about an electric juicer.
To freeze, you can cook them in quite large quantities in a microwave and puree them enough to put in containers - we use plastic take-away boxes from Methi's - or bags and frozen, and then finished off when you want to use them.
Let me know if interested.
