Far from the Western Front - exhibition

This free exhibition explores the untold stories of South Asians whose crucial contribution helped shape the First World War (there were twice as many of them as of Canadians and Australians together). Created by volunteers from across London from images, digital archives and records from the archives, the exhibition reminds us that much of the warfare took place in parts of the world far from the mud and trenches of Europe. At Karamel, 4 Coburg Road N22, until 25th February.
