if may be useful to know that when commenting on applications the Local Authority will focus on material considerations such as design and appearance, effect on the area and so on. Dear all, you will remenber that Haringey Council refused permission for this mast installation, and that Telefonica UK appealed agaist the decision. The planning inspectorate has reviewed the appeal and dismissed the case based on carachter and appearance and impact on pedestrian flow. More details and teh full text of the decision here : https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/ViewCase.aspx?caseid=3253283
Thank you for the welcome update, Alessandra. Do you think this means that Telefonica UK will finally stop trying to build a mast installation on that site? Is this the final ruling?
That's really great news, Alessandra! What a relief to lots of people. Many thanks.
Many thanks Alessandra for alerting us to this development, and for the useful links. It seems very little time has passed since the last application for an antenna on this site.
