The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has announced major plans to help Londoners ‘reclaim’ the streets and get out and about enjoying hundreds of free events for London’s biggest Car Free Day celebrations on Sunday 22 September 2019. Please let Haringey Council know if there are roads you would like to see closed for Car Free Day. More information on the associated events here.

This is a brilliant opportunity. Do you think Haringey will say yes to the roads it usually prevents from closing, such as Crescent Road? It will be interesting to see if the council puts people before car drivers on this occasion.
