Carpenter or handyman required for small job

Hello allCan anyone recommend a carpenter or handyman who would be willing to do a small job please? My friend has brought her father's old dining table all the way back from Italy only to find that she can't get it through her front door! I am presently storing it for her. If the top were taken off the legs, and then put back once it's inside her house all would be well. It's on a sort of double pedestal rather than a leg at each corner, Of great sentimental rather than monetary value. She (and I!) would be very grateful for any suggestions. Thanks.

Tessa just wondering whether you might be better off contacting a furniture restorer rather than carpenter for this job? Michael Slade has helped me on several occasions and is very good - tel 07813 377029. He's based in Quernmore Road London N4.
