A London office block is to be turned into apartments, and some could be just 4 metres by 4 metres. This former council building is on Station Road opposite the Green Rooms and adjacent to Wood Green tube station.

we need more spaces for the community purposes, not flats
Earlier this week, I heard the leader of Haringey Council Joseph Ejiofor being interviewed about this block on Radio 4. He confirmed that the council's planning department had infact refused permission for this development to go ahead. This is very welcome news and I hope they keep a firm line, because I have no doubt that the developer will resubmit slightly amended plans further down the line.
Very good news.
