The W3 bus will be diverted this weekend and next weekend due to closures of Alexandra Palace Way - the road through Alexandra Park.

On October 28, 29 and 30 the road through the Park will be closed from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm each day for a parade of cars associated with the Classic Car Show. The TfL website has the following Status Alert:

Route W3 on diversion via High Road, Turnpike Lane and High Street daily 1000-1530 Friday 28-30 October due to the Classic Car Show at Alexandra Palace

ALEXANDRA PALACE WAY, N10: From 1030 Friday 28 October until 1530 Sunday 30 October (daily) route W3 will be on diversion and will not be serving Priory Rd, Alexandra Place Way, Station Rd due to an event. Please catch bus from Middle Lane or from Lordship Lane.

For the Fireworks, the Park will be closed from 8 pm on Thursday November 3 to 7 am on Sunday November 6. This means that the W3 will not be running through the Park throughout that period. (Further details of the park closure will be included in our October Newsletter, due out shortly).  The TfL website has the following Status Alert:

Route W3 on diversion via High Road, Turnpike Lane and High Street from 2000 Thursday 03 November until 0800 Sunday 06 November due to Alexandra Palace Firework display. Route 184 on diversion between 2130-2215 on Friday 04 and between 2030 and 2145 on Saturday 05 November to help with crowd dispersal after the event

Friends of Alexandra Park have made the Park and Palace management aware of the significant disruption the loss of W3 services through the Park and along Station Road and Priory Road causes to local residents' travel plans, and have asked them to improve their notification of local residents about planned road closures.
