With regard to your Event Day Parking Controls in Alexandra Palace area proposals:
I have emailed Haringey the following:
I do not own a car. I live in Victoria Road.
Am I to understand that I would get free parking permits for my visitors?
Would I apply for free parking permits for the year or for each separate event. If the latter how would anyone know when events are taking place. Not everyone has access to online.
Where I expect more than one vehicle arriving at a particular time on an event day, would I have as many parking permits needed to cover this eventuality?
_____
This scheme appears as yet not thought-though.

Many thanks for this, Christopher. I think it is a great idea to have event-day parking controls, but like you, we do not own a car, and the questionnaire was addressed to those who have cars. I didn't think through the points that you mention - thank you for doing so. Also, we do not live in the CPZ area, so when weekday daytime events are held, there would be no parking controls until 5pm.
On events info. - the W3 Bus User Group is asking TfL to supply annual lists of the relevant events in bus shelters on the W3 route, so I will report if we have any success with this! We are meeting TfL reps in a week's time, on Monday 16th June, to talk about the inadequate information they provide about diversions.
Thank you, Annabel. I emailed the questions to Frontline Consultation Haringey.
I got a reply not referring to the questions only general information about the scheme. Maybe Cllr Alessandra Rossetti would take this up?
The proposal does not seem to give details of how visitors can park Assuming ANPR cameras will be everywhere, they surely can't expect residents to give advance numberplate details of any visitors parking on every occasion. The times being every day from 5.00 to8/8.30 with an earlier stat at 1200 on Sat,Sun and Bank holidays. So effectively 7 days a week for the entire year. With Tottenham having a free pre-booked shuttle operating from Alexandra Park and Wood Green stations I am assuming they are expecting people to park in surrounding roads and get the shuttle. Both Beyonce and Robbie Williams have recently performed at Tottenham to audiences of 60,000 and there has been no impact on parking locally during these. Maybe I have mis understood it.
Are you talking about daily visitors - as in carers? I don't live in a CPZ and haven't checked this out, but I assume there must be some arrangement for these within CPZs which would also apply here.
The point of having shuttle buses from Ally Pally station to the stadium was to transfer fans coming by train to the stadium (see second point made by Alessandra here:

not to accomoodate drivers wanting to park here. I understand there's a park-and-ride in Edmonton, which would make much more sense than driving here and then being taken across the borough in a coach!
I don't know about the concerts that you mention, but there is often massive traffic congestion associated with Spurs home matches in Palace Gates Road, Crescent Road, the Triangle and down Station road .
Since the restrictions will be from 5.8/8.30 monday to Friday increasing from 12.oo on Sat,Sun and Bank holidays it will greatly impact on residents have visitors at those times. Since everything is going digital how this is likely to be implemented is not detailed. Expecting either residents or their visitors to be aware of every event that triggers the controls is unrealistic. The pre booked free shuttle bus from the station has not had a negative effect on parking in those roads further from the station. How it would be implemented so residents could still have their visitors without having to pay for the privilege is not detailed. With events at Tottenham and Ally Pally this willl be basically thoughout the year.
