Petition Haringey Council to divest from fossil fuels

The Sustainable Haringey network are calling for Haringey Council to join the growing band of organisations withdrawing their investments from the worst fossil fuels, coal and tar sands. Please sign the petition - we need 2200 signatures of Haringey residents and then it will be discussed at a full council meeting.

I was in the farmers' market at Alexandra Palace last Sunday and met someone collecting signatures to petition Haringey Council to withdraw their investments from fossil fuels. Apparently 1,200 people have signed and there is still a bit more time to reach the 2200 signatures needed to secure a full council meeting on the subject. So please sign if you haven't already!
